Cactus Air Force P-400 Airacobra

    I recently finished this Eduard 1/48 scale P-400 Airacobra. It depicts one of the three P-400s that played a pivotal part in the Battle of Bloody Ridge.

    Nicely done, I used to make models myself (planes and cars years ago) but with the arthritis in my fingers and knuckles anymore I can no longer participate in the hobby. I miss it.

    Excellent model. Did you paint with an airbrush or some other method? I really like the detail work and weathering on the underside picture. Nicely done and thank you for posting.

    Thank you very much. Yes I used an airbrush for most of the basic colors and patterns, with dry-brushing on a lot of the details.
