Oh my oh my, did I just find a fantastic site. I was looking at it to forward it to a blind buddy of mine since they are putting over a million titles onto the internet which are digitized for a blind person’s screen reader to access. This is a major improvement over the Federation of the Blind library, and has all kinds of newer as well as less well known books included. Anyway, when I looked over there just to see what was listed, I found a section devoted to "moving images" (?) and I wondered what that was doing on a site for "blind people"? I read the thing’s "mission statement" again, and it is not just for visually impaired persons, but all kinds of works being digitized and offered for free to people with access. I’ll tell you right now I was astounded to find the Victory at Sea series, and many other historically important items as well as thousands of movies, cartoon, radio, music, and other stuff. Check it out, I'm watching Victory at Sea right now! Goto: Internet Archive: Free Movies, Music, Books & Wayback Machine
Isn't the Archive great? I just posted a video from there to my blog last night - its a 16 minute movie about nurses during WWII. Great stuff there- I could spend hours and hours watching videos!
