My name is James Bond (the real one) and live in the Dayton, Ohio area. Been a collector of WW2 items, especially hunting and schutzen relics, from WW2 and as late as 16th century. Love the history of the war since I have family still alive from that period and love to listen to the stories they have to tell. My dad was also in Anzio, Italy, 45th and 36th Division. I also spent a couple of years in Germany searching bunkers and meeting people from that time and hearing their stories from their viewpoint. Hope to share, learn and hear stories from others, so Hello again. James:)

Welcome aboard and the 36th Div also has a website. Ask Steve S/ about it as he known much more on them than I do. The Daughter of a vet from that ID is the Pres of the place-her father also fought at the Rapido River and such in Italy and was later chosen to be one of FDRs personal guards. This man was Master Sergeant or Sergeant-Major: Gregg Wiley. I know his wife who also lives in San Antonio, Texas.
