My name is James Bond (the real one) and live in the Dayton, Ohio area. Been a collector of WW2 items, especially hunting and schutzen relics, from WW2 and as late as 16th century. Love the history of the war since I have family still alive from that period and love to listen to the stories they have to tell. My dad was also in Anzio, Italy, 45th and 36th Division. I also spent a couple of years in Germany searching bunkers and meeting people from that time and hearing their stories from their viewpoint. Welcome aboard and the 36th Div also has a website. Ask Steve S/ about it as he known much more on them than I do. The Daughter of a vet from that ID is the Pres of the place-her father also fought at the Rapido River and such in Italy and was later chosen to be one of FDRs personal guards. This man was Master Sergeant or Sergeant-Major: Gregg Wiley. I know his wife who also lives in San Antonio, Texas.
