Hi, i have attached two photographs of my Great Uncle Ken who served in WW2.

I am hoping someone could recognise the unit he served in. Fingers crossed :)

Hi, the only information I have is:

    Born - Lewisham 1924
    Married - Bromley 1947
    Died - Medway 2004

He is one the my Great Uncles that I never got to meet unfortunately. The pictures came from my Grandmother [Ken's sister]

Thanks Sniper. Will try and do a bit of comparison. Pity the badge is at such a side angle.

Can't do that I'm afraid. I am not his next of kin, and have never had any contact with his family as far as I can remember.

I will contact my uncle to see if he knows anyone in Ken's family.

    Thanks for your help

Lesley, are you willing to share his name with us? Perhaps, one of us is able to do a search which may pick up a name.

    Just to let you know.

In the first photo, Ken is wearing a Home Guards uniform, because he was too young to join up.

In the second photo, Ken is wearing the badge of Kings Own Scottish Borders.

Thanks for your help and advice
