It has been my pleasure to serve this Nation for 33 years. During that time, I have witnessed many wonderful things, and have had the opportunity to personally speak with many of our veterans of both WW II and Korea. As well as one Veteran from WW I, England 1977. A good friend of mine suggested that I join this group for educational purposes, and to dispel myths concerning both WW I and WW II. For reasons that I shalt not disclose; I have registered here today at the behest of my friend, and after reading many of the posts prior to joining this group I have come to the conclusion that joining would [indeed] be a pleasant experience. I would like to take this time to state that I will abide by all rules and regulations of this group, and have hopes that I may be able to contribute my knowledge to the group's repetitive search for knowledge. Respects, Cmd. Sgt. Maj. McKee (Ret.) [aka "Birdy"].
