Hello, my name is Lucinda and I live in NC. My father was in 530th FA in Italy. He passed away when I was 16, he rarely spoke of the war. I am hoping to find out more about his unit and hope someone out there may have served with him. I am a retired register nurse, my father's sister was an Army nurse in WWII. I love history, genealogy and quilting.
Something for you to think about. 1st: the 530th Fighters was originally stationed in North Africa, and was later moved to Italy in 1943-44.
