Welcome, Dave. There is plenty of information about, and lots of friendly folk willing to answer questions. Fell free to post when and where you can.
I knew a Sapper 6 at Hohenfells Germany in 98/99 (ish) seems like he was a captain. And before somone pipes up and says: "Every Combat engineer Company Commander's callsign is 'Sapper 6' at one time or another...." I know. Welcome aboard.
Welcome to the forums Sapper6, plenty of room for more here. Pull up a chair, first round is on you noob.
Somalia, not a very nice place to vacation. I bet you have stories of your own you could tell. You will enjoy this site. Tons of knowledge and many words of wisdom from the men who were there.
