Just to prove that you can find anything on the 'net !

There's been some discussion of UK pillboxes under the 'Sealion' thread lately - I just found this site which goes into great ( obsessive ? [IMG] ) detail :

    http://www.pillbox-study-group.org.uk/

It also has a nice 'international' section with 'Westwall' photos, etc.

    Happy browsing ! ;)

Martin and others.......this is slightly off topic but please visit:
    www.thirdreichforums.com

go to Equipment, click this and go to Bunkers.

Please go to Erik's wonderful pics from Norway and view some of his collection of coastal defences. He has an incredible source(s) that he has taken over the years along the interior of his home country. As I mentioned on this site, I hope he posts his radar installations.....

be back in 4 hours or so with more !

    E :D

While we're on the subject of pillboxs/bunkers my reenacting unit has a real concrete one at a site were we have battles. Let me just say that it is no fun firing inside a pillbox. I've walked out of there pratically deaf. The best part is during the winter we have a oven there which keeps us pretty warm.

Hello Pillbox & a warm welcome to the WWII forums !

Thank you for the link - I've always been interested in Pillboxes; two treasured books in my collection being 'The Pill Boxes Of Flanders' and Henry Wills' 'Pill Boxes' .
