I just noticed that today is Brad's 2 year mark on WW2f and wanted to be the first to say congratulations! Semper Fi Marine !
It's all for you Jug! Yesterday was my 36th year of wedded bliss and I spent the day in the fetal position for over 6 hours whilst passing a kidney stone. For some strange reason the first post I read today was a comment by yourself. Hence, checking your profile I stumbled upon your joined date. Tonight we dine on lobster tails and King Crab legs! (see, that's how you steal a thread )
Dang it and I didn't get you flowers or candy or anything...I have some tripwire laying around here someplace...
My plan was to throw up a congrats thread when you reached six months without a trip to the cooler. Not sure if that will happen, so happy two years since registration. They have been anything but dull.
It's funny to look back and see all the people from my friends list that have since become either Moderators or Trustees there are even a few who have chosen a different path and left the forum. As far as Cooler time goes, well I guess we'll have to start that clock next month as I have already been there this month....c'est la guere! Biak, kidney stones are not your friend and mentioning them in a thread is always welcomed.
I for one am glad you fall within the above parameters. Not too high in the hierarchy, leaves you latitude of self expression, but above those who have 'left for greener pastures'. Continue to tread the line (and cross it now and then) and tell it like it is.
I had forgotten about that little foray into the cellblock. Did you carry your baseball glove and ball this trip?
