An old friend of the family, would served in the North Alantic and landed on Juno beach on D-Day came up to the cabin with me hunting and fishing before he passed away. I recorded some of his stories on one of those small tape recorders. When he passed away I gave his son those tapes at his service. His returned those tapes and had the conversation put onto a disc. also. Is it possible to share those stories using the disc? Thanks, KTK
Here I am. lol. I'm not an expert on that, but the way I do it is if you have Windows Movie Maker (Which is usually automatically installed), go to that, and upload your audio. Then save the movie file, and share to youtube if you want. Thats the only way I know how to do it. Hope this Helps, Kyle.
Thanks I'm not too comfortable with sharing this stuff with the world, here I feel the proper respect would be paid to warrior from WWII. KTK
I think you can make a Youtube "private", so people have to have a password to see it. You can double check the FAQ there to confirm.
Making a YouTube video 'Private' only allows 25 people to view it bij the given link ( if I'm correct ).
What format is the disc? All that's being said implies that it is a video file, but is that the case, since you said it came from an audio source?
I'm not sure ( no computer wiz here ). When it plays the screen has that weird coloured oscillascope thing going on. HTH KTK
That's doing that because it's being played through windows media player and there is no video. Try saving it to windows media player and uploading it on "quick reply" because there is an icon next to the picture icon that may work, Fingers crossed. Sorry no it doesn' just tried and you have to upload to spacific sites
Ken, email the file to me, I'll put it on Ibiblio and post a URL here. Email to larrywjewell at yahoo.com.
