    G'day folks,

    I'm new to the forum and thought I'd drop in here first.

    I'm Steve/Invicta and an ex pat Brit living in South Africa.

    I've always been a history buff and especially had an interest in WWII generally.

    I only found the forum when I was trying to research some old WWII magazines that I've just asked about in the General forum.

    More generally, I've just read the book Sandakan that really gave me pause for thought.
