Are we really going to get back to the days when we entertain inane cut and paste topics without any original thought or inflexion from the poster?

Actually I posted it because I thought Carl would like it, and he was an Ex USN veteran. Live with it.

I did a google image search and while I didn't recognize him by name, I do recognize his face. He was in a lot of films.

I loved his role in Star Trek as the squire, he was a great actor. RIP.

I don't see why every submission needs a "too long, did not read" type write up. The article is clear on what his contributions as a veteran were among other things.

Thank you for the notice Nigel, I did enjoy watching him in loads of movies and TV shows. Indeed he as the Squire in: Star Treks episode of: The Squire of Gothos. He was also a Klingon in: The Trouble With Tribbles. Two favorite movies of mine had him in them: Love Me Tender as a Confederate Soldier-along with Neville Brand and Richard Egan. This was one of Elvis's "Signature" movies. Also, William Campbell was another Confederate Soldier in: Escape From Fort Bravo with Williams: Holden, Demarest, and John Forsythe.

Rest in Peace Sir :salute: :mourn:

I had not known he was a WWII Navy Vet-till reading the article on him.

:mourn:I didn't know he was in the Navy either. I enjoyed him on Star Trek as Trelane and as Koloth, as well as reprising Koloth in DS9.

Thats something i had not known-that he reprised his role in another Trek Series. He WILL be sorely missed. I cant remember the exact name of a couple other Westerns I saw him in but he was good in those roles too. If I recall correctly (which I doubt?) I THINK he was in a Western with Burt Lancaster, and I THINK one with Ronald Reagan. I know I got a DvD recently that he was in-but cant remember which one?

I had seen him westerns also. But the DS9 ep was with all three Klingons from the Original Series. Michael Ansara, John Colicos, and William Campbell reprised their roles as Kang, Koloth and Kor. They were hunting down a man who had killed their children, and got Dax to help them, and Worf too.
