I got this bayonet a while back ago from my dad for Christmas and he told me it was a German WW2 Mauser bayonet. Well I tried to do some research on it to see if it was real and I can't find anything. There isn't any special markings on it besides a F.9 on the handle and a serial code on the butt end of it with the numbers 136574. I would appreciate it if you guys can help me out with figuring out if it really is a Bayonet from WW2 I have some pictures to, if it helps. View attachment 13569

I would say it is a Mauser bayonet of some sort, however it is definitely not WW2 German issue.

Mauser bayonets were made in many countries - Yugoslavia, Belgium and Turkey to name a few.

Yours could be a Turkish Model 1935.

    Regards
