G'day, My name is Neil Penny. I am an ex-serving member of the Royal Australian Navy (1979-1985) where I served as an MTP for two years and as a cook for four years. Particular areas of interest to me are: RAN Bathurst Class corvettes from WWII (all 60) RAN Daring Class destroyers HMAS Voyager, Vendetta and Vampire (spent a year on her). RAN River Class. The little tug that could, HMAS Wato. U.S. Ticonderoga Class. U.S. Spruance Class. U.S. Charles F. Adams Class (RAN Perth Class). U.S. Oliver Hazard Perry Class. I intend to build a comprehensive history of these ships and build 1:48 museum quality scale models of each from 'as fitted' drawings.
