    Hi
I am new to this so please forgive any mistakes.
I am trying to trace any information on relatives - Regiments etc, anything would be greatly received.
1st and second picture Robert Hugh Jones DOB 25/3/1916 Ruthin North Wales
3rd picture John Hugh Edwards, I do not have any more information. I believe he was a prisoner of war.

    Thanks Owen.
I hoped maybe someone on the site might be able toprovide some information as I cannot afford the £30 fee for each application! I'm also researching soldiers in 1st world war and was lucky to have some help from the GWForum, also have found their war records on line, so I thought I would try this forum too. I thought maybe RWF but don't know where else to look for their records.

You won't be able to get their records from anyone except the MoD.

The first one isn't RWF - Can you do a close up of the shoulder titles?

Like Owen says, WW2 records are only available from the MoD in Glasgow at a cost of £30. Even if you do identify the regiment from the photo's you still won't know the battalion without a copy of his service records so research without them is just guess work really.

Unfortunately it's just a copy, I haven't got the original photo. Could the the first picture be Royal Signals?

Definitely not - I'm ex-Signals. The cap badge was different in WW2 compared to now.

cap badges look 'odd' cos they seen at a 3/4 angle.
They are RWF , easier to see on middle chap.
