"WORCESTER — WWII veteran and Bronze Star Recipient Alfred Cabral will receive a very personal acknowledgement of his war service on Saturday when a dog tag he lost during the beach invasion of Anzio, Italy is returned to him.

“'I didn’t think it was possible. It has been 70 years … It proves to people that I was in combat. I wasn’t sitting there doing nothing,' said Alfred Cabral whose son Paul added, 'You say you’re in Anzio and that’s a pretty big statement. This backs it up.'”
