I was going through my grandfathers album of stuff he had put together after the war, and came across a patch I can't seem to identify. I know he was with the 16th Armor and he has that patch, but next to it is an armored patch, (tri colored triangle) but instead of a number it appears to have an "S" where the number would be. I will try to get a picture next time I have access to it.

    Thanks for any help!

That would have been worn at the Armor School at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. It's the "School" command.

Thank you! I know he spent quite a few years at Ft. Knox before going over seas
