    Ron Jenkins of Calgary, Alberta, is probably the only guy in history to have purchased the Lancaster he flew during the war.

    A fun read Elinor. The title made me smile and I just had to read the article. As usual, it made we wish I had your connections and knowledge.

    There is a similar story attached to Just Jane, bought by two brothers of an airman lost in a Lancaster in WW2. http://www.lincsaviation.co.uk/history/.

    Thank you, I remember the story about Just Jane, bought by two brothers of the airman. It's also a good story. I'm going to put a link in my blog so other people can read it, too.
