but Obama appointed them...spotlight is on him....out of all the candidates, for two times in a row, there wasn't one white qualified?? and considering they don't graduate high school as much, and then college.....????? talk about some discrimination and favoritism...this is obviously, beyond question, discrimination and favoritism by Obama.......
so you are not denying Il has a problem.....you're trying to deflect blame by mentioning other states?? ??

Nonsense : in a democracy presidential elections always divide the people : people are united only when there is a Führer leading them to what he claims is a happy future .

When FDR was president, people were divided, when JFK was president, people were divided .

A president has not as mission to unite the people . If he did (and a lot want) he would be a dictator with 99.99% of the votes, not with 55 % .

In a democracy it is always majority against minority, and the minority will not join the majority after the elections .

Of course the Liberals dream about a president who would unite the people, someone as Adolf.

It's all a question of power and ego : the founding fathers (ff),although a band of (the word is censored) knew what every POTUS would do (with the collaboration of FATUS (federal agencies of the US) and why :they would want to increase their power at the expense of the states and the people .Why ? Most of them were /are insignifiant people (minus habens) and they want the satisfaction to be able to say at the end of their miserable live that they had done something, mostly something useless .

That's why the FF started by curtailing the power of POTUS and FATUS:

COTUS (Congress of the US) would make laws and POTUS/FATUS would execute these laws .

The FF had no illusion about COTUS (some of them were member of state parliaments and knew that no decent man would trust them) ,that's why they created SCOTUS,with the mission to care care that the others would not violate the liberty of the people (something all politicians want to do).

    What's now the situation ?

COTUS (full of weasels and RINOS) has capitulated and has given the enemy (POTUS and FATUS) carte blanche .SCOTUS is even worse than POTUS and FATUS,and the people and the states are no longer protected against the arbitrariness of Washington .

There is only one solution : send someone to Washington who will clean this place of destruction and will give to the people and the states the power they were given by the Constitution .

This person can only be THE DONALD , not Rubio who was vetted as VP by Romney and whose election adviser is Jim Rubright who worked for RINOS as Jeb, Romney and McCain and who offered a legal status to persons who entered the US unlawfully= reward the criminals .

Kasich would even be worse : soft on crime, capitulated on immigration, on same-sex marriage, on Obamacare .

If the Clinton woman will be at Pennsylvania Avenue, US will follow the exemple of Europe ,where the situation is hopeless ,where you must beg the permission to cut down a tree, and the bureaucrat will force you to wait till 2 months (to show you he is the master) and you must pay 50 euro .

That's the situation : Brave new world or give back to the people the power it possesses.

The Nazi Party only received some 44% of the vote in the German federal election of March, 1933...Not 99.99%.

Good fences make good neighbors. Unless you have a neighbor who is trying to take advantage.
Oops. This should be in idioms thread.

And the Senate approved them...What part of this progression escapes you?

Obama could have appointed Satan if he had so desired, but Bill Clinton beat him to it with Janet Reno. The point is that the Presidential appointment needs the Senate's approval, or the appointee does not get the job.

I see that you did not lay off the "hard" drugs like I had asked you to.

If they were not "qualified" the appointees never would have made it out of committee.

Holder, for example, had already served as Deputy AG under Clinton's reign and was acting AG at the beginning of Bush II's term - until Ashcroft was approved.

    Hardly...

Lot's of states have a super debt problem, Illinois is only one, and it is not even at the top of the "debt" heap.

Further, Obama was only a State Senator, of which Illinois has some 59, as well as, 118 members of the State House of Representatives...So Obama had a lot of people keeping him company...Not to mention that this problem has been building over decades. Which adds even more to share the blame.

Keep trying though...One day you might find something to blame Obama for.

You could try blaming Obama for making the sun come up each morning...After all it has happened each and every day of his Presidency.
