I'm working on a TIE interceptor.I painted it using colors more commonly found on an X-wing.I'm also using a few decals from an X-wing as well. The idea being that the TIE was captured and put into service by the Rebels.
Here's the M-24. It's a 1/72 scale Hasegawa kit. All the small fragile bits were left off since it will be used in tabletop miniature gaming.
Very nice work, JCalhoun! I have this model too, and I remember it got a bit fiddly around the small parts...
We play a game that is based on Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 and we also added quite a few of our own club rules. There are army lists with points costs and restrictions that you go by when building a force. We are also working on a version that is nothing but vehicles. It should be cool since everybody likes tanks.
I'm very familiar with Games Workshop.I have an Undead Army myself. Not to mention hundreds of painted figures including about a half dozen vehicles.
I stopped playing GW games when they changed rules by the .... time. Now i play a little Command Decision, and in "fantasy", Warzone. For sci-fi i use a simplification of Striker II for small games. Never could use the full rules.
I have a Dwarf army for Warhammer Fantasy. I played Imperial Guard, Adeptus Arbites, and Squats during the 2d edition of WH40K. Too many changes in rules to keep up with. I also had a Vampire Counts army for WH Fantasy until recently. Once we get the rules figured out, I will try to post them. Another game we have been playing a lot is Flames of War. It's WW2 in 15mm. Very nice models to be that small of scale. For our miniatures, go to BigJoeDuke.com and click on the WW2 link.
they are: rotte 13 wnr. 400240 to the left schwarze 1 wnr.600424 to the right now the top sides: and as you can notice, i'm using experten decals they look gloss but after the decals i will use some dullcote!!! note: this is the first time i use the historic camo on a plane
Looks very nice there. Can you tell me the purpose of those white stripes on the down side of the planes? I don't really understand.
So they were the German equivalent of the D-Day stripes on Allied aircraft? I didn't know about that. Thanks.
only used by JV 44 and JG 6, for providing top cover to me 262 landing or take off, when they are more vulnedable,it was said that if the allied pilots saw this doras they would not attack, why? do not know but perhaps: CHICKENS!!!!
