An offshoot of the tea/ coffee thread.

What kind /brand of alcoholic beverages do you enjoy and how often?

Do you smoke, if so what do you smoke and how much?

    Damned nosy aren't I? :D

Never smoked (Not so much as a puff) and probably never will.

Alcohol-wise, pretty much anything. I like wine, lager and Vodka for preference (In reverse order).

I sometimes drink Kentucky bourbon (Jim Beam, Old Charter), Tennessee blended whisky (Jack Daniels Black label).
    Beer- Samuel Adams
    Domestic (California) wine...Beringers, Robert Mondavi.
I drink for the taste as I seldom drink enough at one setting to get a buzz on.

I smoked (Marlboro) for 16 years..I quit in 1984 and haven't touched one since. No cigars or pipe. Haven't smoked marijuana or hashish in years.

I don't drink or smoke. I've never found any alcoholic beverage I liked, and the smoke coming off cigarettes is so repulsive I couldn't stand the thought of producing it myself.

I drink......what else do you want me to say?

OK I mostly drink dry white wine...my fave at the moment is Chilean Viognier, I also am partial to Pinot Grigio and Pino Noir....Chablis when I'm feeling very flush. Chenin Blanc is also nice. Keep Chardonnay away from me.

I love Champagne with strawberries, very decadant!

Spirits, vodka, gin, tequilla......I have to be drunk to drink whisky, if that makes sense, but a bit of single malt is quite nice to round off an evening.

I smoke, about 20 a day.....but I have been known to partake in a bit of wacky backy.

That's the worth of cultural stereotypes for you...

Only the really socially troubled and mentally undefined use drugs. I do not know which way the causal relation goes but I'm sure it exists.

If you're asking us what we all smoke, you might have to be more specific.

Cigarettes, yes. Newports are my staple, menthol cigarettes, and probably the most expensive smokes in the U.S. (considering a pack costs around $3-4 and there are cheaper) I only smoke about a pack every 2-3 days, so it's affordable.

Nothing beats a St. Pauli's Girl Special Dark for beer outside Germany. The beer is Germany is incredible. One bar I went to brewed the beer and brought it right to us. :D

Vodka and Jagermeister are my favorite liqours. Can't stand Cap'n Morgan's Spiced Rum. Sweet lion of Zion, that was a horrible night!

As Dave said that's the Paddies, not the Brits and certainly not the English.

I can't touch Stella and don't like Fosters.

Wine wise South African Chardonnay is good though.

As I love seafood, I drink a lot of white wine, ranging from dry to sweet, some of my favourites are Sauternes, Chablis or Muscadet.

I also like rosé and red wine, for rosés I prefer mediteranean ones.
As red wine I prefer a Cahors, or several Bordeaux.

For opening a dinner there is nothing like a Ricard, or a red Porto, and a Cognac or Calvados at the end.
There are some good champagnes too....

As for Beer, thank God for the belgians!!
I prefer Jupiler, Duvel or Leffe,Stella,Kriek, as well as some other sorts, brewed by belgian monks.

Certain sorts of whiskey or vodka aren't bad either.

I do not smoke, except some occasional cigar for special events....
