Well i guess thet the fighting compartiment would have been a bit higher (but also the tank then) Most important change would imho be that the gun could be mounted in the centre (no driver here) with the loader gunner on the right and the commander on the left making them in one team. interestingly, some versions of the followup vehicle (jagdpanzer 38D) showed the same lay out. But as the 38D was a larger vehicle altogether, space would have been less cramped anyhow. Aglooka
Very interesting, the Hetzer has always been one of my favorites in that it never seems to get any respect in diecast. I can fully understand Armin Sohns' points, but then again the fact that anything useful (for 1944 anyhow) and reliable could be made from the PZ35 chassis is amazing to me.
