alrite erich . i found out 2day that it is a biber sub no 105 .........it was captured at the end of the war , paraded through the streets of london as a trophy then checked over by naval experts at chatham . then it went to HMS ganges and is now over at gosport sub museum .........

Hatch then the Biber is still preserved; can you take some neat pics of this craft ?

would be interested if they have information on the operator of the unit if possible.

yea its had a total revamp , back to working order . you cant take pictures in the dockyard due to being the main naval base but i have a copy of the navy news which is an internal newspaper with an article inside on it ........i could photograph and send you it no probs ??????there may be a program on it as when we were watching it in the flooded dry dock there were film crew etc there.........one part of the article says........german midget sub returns to the water after more than half a century when experts lovingly restore the boat.............
