    Hi zhengboyang777,

I'm in England and it is 3pm here as I type this.

Most of our members tend to post in what would be the evening for me, as they are either at work or at school, or in a different Time Zone. A lot of our members are American.

Oh, and your English is good. I would suggest that you meant it is a quiet time.

If you're in China then I think there's a time difference.

    Question

I think ZBY could have something here, I too have noticed fewer on site and fewer posters, do you think we are reaping from the seed of too many hypophetical 'what ifs?' 'favourites' and 'bests'?

Not really. We do have quiet periods, for a number of reasons. I remember a time when I felt lucky to log on in the morning and see more than 2 news posts.

Common reasons for less activity -

    1) busy lives outside of the forum
    2) not much debate happening on the forum (happens now & then - it does pick up though)
    3) Just, y'know, stuff.

Interestingly it has been a while since our last 'best xyz' topic, or even a 'what if' - maybe we should start some! :D

Agreed (except starting 'what if', they are generally boring IMHO).
    Adding one more reason:

    4) people are shifting their interests to something else.

But as you suggest to start 'best xyz', I think I have one in my sleeve (been wondering that for a while)...
