Hello everyone. It is my latest drawing: “Scharnhorst”. It is a commission from a regular customer. I hope you like it. Rgards. Title: Scharnhorst Technique: Pencil / graphite. Format: 11″x16″, paper Canson, acid free.
Though perhaps a contradiction in terms the Germans built beautiful warships and Scharnhorst and Gneisenau are two of the best to illustrate that observation thought the pocket battleships did too.. I took a class in collage on the naval history of WW2 and the Professor had two Scotties named after the "sisters".. I thought your drawings just beautiful, graphite has a softness that combined with harder leads that ages or patinas drawings in my humble view. Yours are quite exquisite.. Thank you for the "like" but it is you that is deserving.! Gaines
