    USA got into WW2 because they were declared war on by the Axis, Japan December 7th 1941, and Germany-and her allies, December 11th 1941. Hope it helps.

    Actually Brad T, the bombing of Pearl Harbor on Dec 7thy, 1941 was the action that got the US into WW2. Roosevelt declared war the next day on JAPAN, then Germany declared war on the US on Dec 10, 1941 to get the Japanese to open a second front with Russia in Manchuria.

    That’s not quite the point buff. Peppy appears a cute, cuddly, well-marked little fellow – which of course he is. Not so obvious is that his specific density is 18 times that of lead and his jaws deliver the force of 6 Bunker-busters! He didn’t get that medal for carrying home the newspaper you know. ;)
