    Yeah I read that article in the Baton Rouge paper today. Sounds like typical bureaucratic BS, and a tragic tun of events like those refugees on the SS St. Louis that was refused entry at every port and country that they tried to get to. I believe that the ship ended up be accepted in the Netherlands. Tough break for them too.

    Your right. Very similar to MS St. Louis. Politics of the time with blinders to a moral code. I believe they were also accepted into France, United Kingdom and Belgium as well. Unfortunately those countries didn't provide them with the safety they needed.
