If anyone has any information on '44-'45 Ardenne (Bulge) or Belgium, this would come as much help to my newest novel. Thanks alot!
Not to be mean but, the Ardennes is probably one of the most, if not the most, documented battles in history. There are literally hundreds of books on the subject covering every aspect of the battle in excrutiating detail. Help yourself to a few. You will likely get whatever details you need in short order.
Some sites that might help you SGT... http://www.battleofthebulge.org/ http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/bulge/ http://hometown.aol.com/dadswar/bulge/ http://www.xs4all.nl/~hulsmann/ardennes.html The veterans“ stories always inspire I“d say...
Be wary of Veteran's recollections, most saw little beyond their foxhole and often had no idea of the overall picture. Us them for "The feel of the Battle". Read a History from a respectable Historian to see how it all fitted together.
Can't get better than this. A FREE book on the net! "The Battle of the Bulge" by Hugh M. Cole. http://www.army.mil/cmh-pg/books/wwii/7-8/7-8_cont.htm
There was a thread on this not too long ago. http://www.ww2forums.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=000497
