You tube can be so entertaining, videos on worlds greatest tank battles. And stuff on military aircraft from wwI to present, military vehicles, ships, space you name it they usually have something on just about everything. They had these vids on the P1000 ratt. The takom p1000 kit is not entirely what I would envisioned for the p1000. It's really not the land battleship I think it should be. There's like so many different secondary arrangements. I'd like to either get the Takom kit or scratch build my own. I like the one where some guy had twomwirblewinds on each side of the rear deck and a e100 type turret on each corner of the rear deck but looked like twin 128 guns. And two whirbelwinds on the forward corners. I think I'd like to modify it move the upper structure back and the twin 11inch gun turret enough to put a maus turret on the two from corners and back. And have a total of eight whirbel winds and four maus turrets. Wonder if I should have a radar mast. They have a epic battles simulation where a guy has like a battalion of is3s attacking the p1000. The p1000 fires at them with its AA and twin 128 gunned turrets then drives tight circles to run over the IS3s. It was a rather interesting show the all the Stalin 3s firing didn't seem to do anything if I was the commander I would have had all my tanks fire at the road gear and tracks I'm sure with all those tanks firing at that it should have disabled it then called in for artillery or air strike. Lol, some of these simulations are pretty wild they have one where the US and Russia slug it out and a combine force of Abrams and m60s take out an equal number of Russian tanks but couldn't tell what type t90s and t80s types I'm sure seen this one before the t14 so figure none of those. It's something how tech evolves, the first gun were smooth bore then rifled we had rifled guns for decades then back to smooth bore the going back to smooth bore they say the gun tube last longer and with the high firing rates guns have these days that helps keep a tank on the battlefield. The range of stabilized ammunition has really changed over the years. Is the he stabilized as well, going to have to look that up. I like the model the guy added more AA and the e100 type turrets on the rear I'd like to do something similar but I think Somme different AA guns and more mounted on top of the main turret and forward deck extended for more AA and maus turrets and the same on the back maus turrets so the can use the L70 for close targets and not waste the 128 ammunition. The thing was to weigh a thousand tons and would have to carry 300 tons of ammunition 11inch shells, 128mm shells and ammunition for the AA guns and mg bullets. The whitish one I think might be a paper or cardboard model the maus look out of scale something just doesn't look right
One of the reasons I got into reloading the state at one time was going to restrict ammo sales and for awhile they were limiting ammo sale the price of ammo shot up so I got into reloads, I was saving huge on pistol ammunition like 357, 45acp, and on my 308 and 223. It was fun doing it I would use the middle to low loading tables. Had a guy tell me he started reloading but never got the book he would fill the case to the top and force the bullet down. Wow I said I'm amazed your gun did blow up. Told me one day he blew the barrel off one of his pistols got lucky and not hurt but scared the hell outta him. He bought a reloading book that week, lol. Some people just have to learn the hard way ran into lots of dim wits at the open range but they finally closed it because too many idiots were trashing the place bringing up junk as targets and leaving them. When I used to gomtomthe range I'd bring a rake and trash bags. I'd fill up three or four bags we I drove back down the ranger station had an area with a bunch of trash cans and so I'd dump the bags in the tras. I kinda bet they hated that as besides trash I would end up picking up a lot of rocks sweeping up and the bags would be really heavy. I met an old man who would do the same but take it home and separate the 22and other brass and take to metal recycling said it made a bit of extra money for him the most numerous was the shot gun said he would pick out the best ones and sell them as reloadable husks and the others I think he said he'd burn them. Said the plastic would burn off then it was easy to gomthru them and break off any plastic left and then sell them to the recycle yards. I have buckets of brass I need to go thru and recycle. I'm pretty sure I wound use certain ones like 30 carbine cases and my 357 cases as I sold my 357 years ago. I don't have a 380 or 9mm anymore so I could recycle those should make enough money off that and reduce my 308 and 223 cases have serve real thousand 223 and a few thousand 308 I used to sweep up everything when I was at the range and when I was in open country I got those brass catchers need to try to figure out what's what the guy who made them did all kinds they all looked the same but only had different numbers etched in later he added the names so you could identify them easier need to try and match the model numbers the use a paint pen to write down what's what I have three one for my L1A1, AR15, and my Hungarian AK with laminated stock. Got a bunch of East German manufactured mags there like twice as heavy as my Chinese ones. Made a boo boo got some mags for my L1A1 but forgot to make sure they were inch pattern got some metric the locking block is different and I can't remember if I tried to use them but they fit loose. Not tight like the ones I should have gotten anyway I have server all of each only ten AR mags and had about thirty AK type. They were reallybcheapnat the great western the gun shops like 15 to 30 at the gun show I was getting mags for like five bucks. I use to make extra money by buying used guns and clean and fix them up like refinishing the wood stocks retouch scratches and such add scopes and slings and mags and mag pouches use to make some decent money but the new gun laws killed that. I used to domthatvas a private seller no dealer license but now you have to get a dealers license in California and most civilian assault gun types are now illegal here for future sales my collection small but mostly assault gun types by law I can't sell, them but when I die I can will them to one of my nephews if my nephew Jeffery ever comes back from Austrailia he'd be one said he and his wife were discussing immigrating back but who knows then my other nephew Jarrode I don't think my nephew Julio is into guns. My other option is I'd have to sell them out of state. Should have sold some of my ammo I stocked away when prices shot up to those crazy prices. I still can't believe what 22lr goes for these days when I use to buy a brick for ten bucks even when I shot my large caliber guns I'd bring my 22s for fun. My pistol and ruger rifle.
Wow just a bit more to the east and they could have got four states, almost got the panhandle, lol. I think it was rude of Florida with as huge a coastline as they have had to stretch the panhandle and cut off other states from enjoying a nice beach of their own like how greedy, lol. They say the beaches there are really different compared to California lots warmer the water is clearer. Might have to go there some day.
Australia has almost 12,000 beaches along its 60,000-kilometre (37,282-mile) coastline. If you visited one per day, it would take more than 32 years to see them all. Closest one to me is Mindil Beach...World famous for its sunsets (the sort you can only get in the tropics). People come to watch the sun go down...over a glass of Champers. A bit further along is the trailer boat club...the view from there.
Yes, the panhandle, gulf beaches have really white, fine sand and very clear, warm, emerald, green water. The Florida Atlantic coast beaches and lower west coast beaches are different. You have the same thing there; Coronado Islands beaches are different from Imperial Beach, La Jolla or San Onofre. Florida Gulf Beaches
Lord help me I've just spent the last hour and 20 minutes watching Curling. And it wasn't even the USA team. Switzerland versus Sweden !
I’ve been watching the Aussies in curling…i had my booster (third jab) and have been feeling absolutely shit house for two days : (
Lol, it is a strange sport I think it's so funny watching those guys brushing the ice I get the idea and how it works but it still looks funny. Wonder if I can find old pics of how the stones looked way back when
Don Broco have topped this week's UK album chart - with a record they originally put out last year. The Bedford rock band released Amazing Things digitally on 22 October 2021, but had to delay the physical release until now due to a global vinyl shortage. They beat competition from The Weeknd to secure their first number one. Don Broco: How they topped this week's chart with last year's album
Isn't this insane looking reminds me of those pics of the navy invasion fleets lol, I wonder what going on with the crews on those ships are they stuck on there and what about food and stuff I'm sure the ships were only originally stocked for a normal trip and this hasn't even been near normal.
They'll have boats running grub out to them. Looks like a yard tanker can top them off, unless weather picks up.
It's still insane looking those ships take dsys getting here then back and forth some they say have been waiting for weeks so the bottle necking of ships is just going to slow the movement of cargo plus I'm sure the crews are probably dying of boredom and probably would love to get back to their home ports and families. I wrote to Biden and the LA mayor with a suggestion on how to get the docks moving, lol, hope I made an impact. My nephews assay a lot of stores have empty shelves they said they haven't seen it so bad since the first shortages caused by people over buying and hoarding.
Wow container ships are always losing containers must be thousands all, over the bottom of the sea. A container ship lost some cargo and somehow the container broke open and 28000 rubber bath toys to a swim, lol. Duckies, turtles, frogs and beavers. They are still floating around since 1992 and still wash up they use to give a 100 dollar reward for finding and reporting them some have even sold on eBay to collectors for as much as a thousand. I think the deal is the farther the travel the bigger the Bucks as far as doing the eBay thing I would think the ones that made it to Scotland traveled the farthest so far
lol I'm suppose to go for my third after February 12th. Funny I told my doctor I wasn't even sure if I got a shot as I felt just a slight prick hardly anything at all and told my sister I felt like it was nothing. Well good thing my nephew and nice weren't stupid like those that didn't get their vacs. They got it like they said it doesn't guarantee that you won't get it but it will be more mild and easier to cure they got over it pretty quick said they had a bit of a fever and other symptoms but they got over it quick the kids too thank god they got only mild reactions they are 3/4/5 years, Deluca, Nico, Aria. Maybe those people who died would have had a less sever reaction and still be alive if they had gotten vaccinated. Kind of stupid all those that fought it and then on their death bed said they wish they had gotten the vaccine and were sorry the really dumb ones were those college kids that when to those stupid covid parties. One saying they really believed they were really healthy and they wouldn't get it. Too bad and sad but maybe now college kids can understand why adults still treat them like kids because they make poor childish choices. Well I guess I better check with my pharmacy if I need to schedule an appointment I actually like that go in and out in minutes. Lol, maybe we'll,stop for some water melon water, love that stuff. They say it's great for hydration but have to get the low sugar stuff too much sugar to not good especially for my gout I've read.
Yeah scientists who major in current studies said that was a boon for them as they had small models of current and the duckies were helping prove their models and to start predicting where they would show up a company sponsored a hundred dollar savings bond for a while for people who reported in on where they found the toys and people were getting as much as a thousand on eBay from people bidding to collect the toys. I guess you need to get all four for a complete set, duck, turtle, beaver, and frog the scientists had tried releasing drift bottles but had hardly gotten any response the toys were a boon of information and they say their still washing up even to this day. Some have faded in color from sun exposure but the turtles and frogs they say the colors are still good and they are still, floating. I wonder how many were swallowed by sea life life whales, sharks and othe sea life, heck they caught a shark I think it was out in the Atlantic and the thing had so much junk in it including a license plate from Louisiana. They one found a shark with a keg of nails in it. The keg was still intact and full of nails rather old style nails. Wonder if a bunch of them ended up in that floating plastic junkyard they say that's at the middle of both the pacific and Atlantic. The UN should fund a operation to send a ship out there and clean the ocean of that mess like skim the water of it and they should give special grants to companies to find ways to recycle most types of plastic like they did back in the 70 to 90s where they were recycling old plastic to make storage bins and totes. When they had the Doritos incident thousands of people scoured the beach for the bags they said the sealed bags were mostly still good and the beaches were cleared of them in no time another time a container with just under a hundred thousand pairs of Nike sports shoes spilled out at sea and washed up people ran down to the beach grabbing everything they could unfortunately the shoes were not tied or matched together so finding and matching pairs was going to be hard as people were just grabbing everything they could and just hoping they could match pairs later of maybe they had ways of advertising hey I got this I'll trade for that. Like how else were people going to try to match up the shoes and wonder if the days of floating in salt water did any damage.
