    Some amazing stories from an American hero, barnstormer and daredevil. Listen to some stories from the late Bob Hoover, including a WW2 one that closely resembles a scene of: Tom Gun: Maverick. It's hard to think that they did not take Bob Hoover's adventure as inspiration!

    I saw him at a air show in Peoria Illinois years ago and the man did some crazy things with an airplane. Flew down the line prop up and tail a few feet off the runway. He was a real character :D
