Joe Kidd (1972), American western starring Clint Eastwood and Robert Duvall. I absolutely love movies about the "Wild West". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Kidd
Interesting take on NSA and political analyst algorithms. Search this dudes. Great show and nice of Frank to let Claire hang out with Tom - wow - amazing.
Anyone watch S1 of "River" on netflix. Stellan Skarsgard as a London homicide investigator, pretty good. He has issues. And Blacklist and Shades of Blue.
Watched The Guns of Navarone (1961) yesterday. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Guns_of_Navarone_(film)
Was just watching Chronicles of the Third Reich and now watching Triumph des Willen in a German History class.
Casablanca (1942) for the first time; thought I'd see what all the fuss was about - Glad I did. I even Wikipedia'd it afterwards to see what came of cast and everything too... Was a cool movie...
A train wreck... http://www.ww2f.com/topic/57552-barbarossa-is-well-planned-executed-much-like-the-sickle-cut-was/ Sorry, could not resist, but it is entertaining.
I saw Lord of the Rings for the first time ever yesterday, sort of - just missed the beginning of 2... saw a bit of 3... And when that hobbit said to the other hobbit "You'll have to toss me." I was like; Did I just hear that? My mistake, I just remembered this is a WWII section and I can't delete this post.
Watched Max Manus: Man of War yesterday. Better than Lord of the Rings. Norwegian film about a successful resistance fighter sinking ships and wreaking havoc for the Nazis. Jumped out a second or third story window in attempts to thwart capture.
