After a false start here are a few of the original Kodak Kodachrome color slides I have.

    Some questions.

    Left to right...

#1 I noticed in the lower right corner are two shiny staff cars (the both appear to have 2 Star plates). Any idea on what make automobiles they are? I'm thinking LaSalle. (BTW, no Jeeps to be seen)

    #2 Red team? (KOTMK)

#3 Any clue which Major General this is?

Yeah, gotta love the stability of colors. :) I took several thousand slides from 1989 to 2005. Mostly train pics.

I doubt it is him. Ike's chin doesn't have that deep of a cleft.

Is there a list of Major Generals from the I Armored Division in 1940 somewhere?

Maybe Bruce Magruder, the first commander of the unit. I haven't been able to locate his picture, yet.

I thought it might be Major General Ben Lear, who commanded the Red Force, but I'm leaning toward Maj. General Adna Chaffee, Jr. who commanded the AGF at that time. If so, that would be one of very few pictures of Chaffee.
