Hi all, just wondered if anyone had any WW2 company photos of the above regt. I have seen numerous pics showing the different company's but never managed to find one with the wife's old man on. We think he was in a support co as a vickers machine gunner (sgt), but never seen any pics.......here's hoping...goz.
Arghhh... no , I haven't but wish I had, as I am looking into the Overloon battle in which the Royal Ulsters played a part...Think that was 2nd Batt. though...
Would be very much appreciated. It is amazing, that Overloon is considered a major tank battle in Western Europe in WW2.....hardly any information can be found on it....Let alone the role the infantry regiments played.....Yet another research project that is on my list....
