Elmo Maiden’s crew after they crash landed in France on 27 December 1944, killing a jack rabbit in the process. Elmo is 3rd from right. He wasn’t all that thrilled about posing for a photo. Elmo Maiden is the pilot of this aircraft that crash landed in France, He was accused of killing a rabbit by a local farmer. His brother, Clint maintained that this photo was an example of a good flight with Elmo.

Forget about a barrel of pickles. Hitting a moving rabbit is quite the accomplishment. Wonder if they took its' lucky foot.
