Something I've long wanted and finally got hold of at this Summers' 'War & Peace Revival' Show. V1s were largely made of steel, so parts are often unrecognizable pieces of rust - but one of the stallholders was selling a collection of aircraft relics including this piece of V1 rudder, found on the surface in Epping Forest in 1983 ; about two miles from where I lived as a schoolboy........ There's a chance it may have been air-launched, so I photographed it with a Corgi Heinkel + V1. How can I be sure ? Imperial War Museum to the rescue................. http://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/30084547 Count the rivets !
