Can anyone help with some AAA jargon, references to these terms occur in my dad's unit history while in Italy, November 1943.

If G.O.R means Guns Operation Room what does S.O.R. mean?
    Possibly, Searchlights Operation Room?

    One more question.
In the following S-2 Journal entry, "Advice's Jenny 360 deg sweep found nothing" would Jenny be referring to a SCR268 Radar Set?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have found notations that indicate the S.O.R. was operated by the 64th Fighter Wing
Therefore, I now believe S.O.R. means Sector Operations Room.
although not confirmed anywhere, I'm convinced the Jenny refers to radar.

So anyone have a clue what G.C.O. stands for in an AAA battalion?
    My guess, gun commanding Officer.

    thanks in advance.
