new fella here, looks like a good informative forum here. Looking forward to reading such diverse number of subjects, and viewing the photo galleries.

I'm from the UK, I'm a Illustration graduate that now works at the University where I studied. However I'm also hoping to set up as a free lance illustrator. One of the main areas I'm hoping to specialise in is historical illustration, especially military history. World War two offers an immense number of subject areas to illustrate so I thought this would be another good place for reference.

    cheers.

Thanks fellas, will do. Dgmitchell, yes I will host a couple of images soon then when I have chance, just completed the initial sketch of the latest one last night, the rough concept is of US marines in action in '44, probably Saipan or something along those lines.

edit : two images have been added to your photo galleries.

    cheers

Welcome aboard, Tinpot Warrior, great choice of name too :)

Nice work, as I am completely incapable of anything artistic, I have great admiration for people with your abilities!

I see you're taking artistic liberties already, the Pz III was supposed to have 6 roadwheels! You'd better be careful, this place is crawling with self-appointed pricks :D

Thanks Rodinu, artistic liberties?, let's just say the sixth wheel fell off somewhere :D

Cheers for the feedback anyway, much appreciated.
