American ammunition maker marks

    Does anyone have a list or know of a site that can give me a list of makers marks of WW2 US small arms ammunition and where there were produced. I've tried US Army to no avail.

    Try the Ammo companies, Dupont, Winchester, and colt. Im sure had they made Ammo in WW2 they would love to have bragging rights. But i have a feeling it was just made in bulk and alot of Ammo was surplus Ammo from WW1 so i dunno goodluck.
