Hi Guys. I took my wife to Amsterdam last weekend as birthday present to her (and a little one for me)
Any way I cant go any where with out looking foe ww2 stuff, I found this place verzetsmuseum or to me in English the Dutch resistance museum it tells the story of the Dutch people between 14th May 1940 till 5th May
It tells of a Dutch resistance fighter who was known by the Gestapo as the girl with red hair.
Hannie Schaft she was executed by the Germans three weeks before the end of the Second World War she and other young girls carried out executions and helped hid wanted people

cheers Pegasus. M42 helmets for your spaghetti... That's an original recycling..... They seemed to have been covered with enamel too.

I saw the film called "the Red haired girl". It is a nice tribute to Hannie Schaft, a hero. She (and her friends) were executed by fanatics in April 1945.

Have a nice trip in Bastogne

Yes the stock does look very mp40 but the handle is hollow, I am not sure wether its a post war Item or as would prefer a one off resistance made item out of a sten and mp40

I have seen things like this before, in the impeial war museum there is a m1 carbine with a k98 sniper rifle scope attached made by the Finish resistance
