    Lets cover some basics

    1. Your Name: KiwiTT - Kiwi = NZ'er and TT = TigerTank
    2. Age: 40+
    3. Origins: Holland,, but now reside in NZ
    4. Specifics: Orders iof Battle are my main interests
    5. Hobbies: WWII History, Civ4 Gaming
    6. Other: Also interest in Medieval times
    7. Miscellaneous:

    Well where to start:

As a kid (under 8) I loved to play soldiers and I remember at one point thinking the highest military rank was "Inspector General". It was fun doing salutes and playing with guns.

Later, I started to play with 1/72nd models and remember that one of the most powerful tanks ever made in WWII was the Jagdtiger. It always could beat the "Sherman" in my games. I then moved to making my own game map and made my own counters representing different kind of tanks. And this included the "Karl" 600mm Mortar.

For a few years I played 1/300th models using Nato/Warpac tanks. and then I ceased playing about 25+ years ago. Still got the models :D

I moved onto playing wargames on the PC about 15 years ago, with the Close Combat series, Civilization II/III/IV, Medieval:Total War and now have returned to Civ IV.

I am now working on designing a historical scenario for Civ IV and am finding myself reading lots of books and websites on WWII, including Samuel W Mitchum's Stackpole books. I came across this website when I was looking up some of his details.

So if you are keen to try my scenario and you like to play Civ 4, you can get it here. Civilization Fanatics' Forums - Downloads Database - Road to War - KiwiTT Europe Map
