His intimate knowledge of the highlands of southern Poland made him an invaluable courier during the Nazi occupation." Day by day, the heros of WW2 from all over the world are passing. I hope all of their stories are well documented. One of the deepest regrets I have is not asking my grandma more about grandpa's WW2 days in Siberia.
