Just a quick note guys, I'm heading out for the Army-Navy Game in Philadelphia shortly. Going down to New Orleans tonight then catch a flight out early in the morning. Any of y'all ever been to it? I went last year and had a blast. An old Army buddy of mine has a daughter that is a sophomore at West Point, and another buddy has a daughter at Annapolis, so we're all going to have some fun and drink more than our share or Yuelings. Hopefully the sneaux will not be as bad as it was for the Philadelphia Eagles game last weekend. Army has a sorry team again this year, but when these two teams face each other on the football field you can throw the record books out of the window. GO ARMY!

I've never been to the game, but I watch it as much as I can. I don't live far from Philadelphia, but sadly I've never been. A former soccer payer of mine (female) went to West Point and retired from the Army several years ago. I run into her or her mother occasionally. It's supposed to be kind of messy Saturday. Have fun.
I'll be sitting in my recliner with a cold one - I'll watch for you in the stands Jump up & down and wave !
Man the game sucked. Not only did Army get shellacked, the weather was most crappified. It started out cold, then it started snowing, then it started sleeting and snowing, then it started sleeting and raining, then it started raining some more. Good thing they were selling beer in the stadium! The crowd thinned out considerably after the raining part started. The only good thing about that was that there was less traffic right after the game. So that meant we had to make a forced march about a mile from the stadium in slushy rain to be able to catch a taxi before it got close to the crowds standing near the stadium. Man, was I ever glad to get back to the hotel bar. Oh well, better luck next year....Go Army....Beat Navy (2014)!!!!
Ok, time to dust this thing off again and update it a bit. I'm leaving tomorrow and heading to New Orleans to catch a flight to Washington DC, then shuttle over to Baltimore for the 2014 Army-Navy Game. Man I hope Army pulls it off this time. Hopefully moving the game to Baltimore will break up Navy's mojo and end their monopoly on winning the series (Navy holds the record streak, 12 games going back to 2002. Navy leads the series 58-49-7. Hopefully the weather will be a bit better than what was experienced last year. Anyway, GO ARMY!!!!
Hehe...i used to go to these here in Australia...although always a very low-key affair...usually got time off work to go down to ADFA/RMC to watch...Remember one year the Army phoned in Matty Burke! (This was Rugby Union)...Army usually wins the Aussie Rules too...at least last time i was up with this stuff...Im assuming you're talking NFL?
Love inclement weather during sports events. Dress warmer than the average bear...Game is usually pretty hairy, slippin' and slidin'. The snow bowl: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEXaZ4jrgjI The power of WW2F has allowed a utube vid to play on my machine. allah ackbar
