This is a bit of a loaded question, but does anyone know approximately how many people gathered for the 1934 Nuremberg Party Rally, also known as the 6th Party Congress? I am especially interested in the number of civilians who were there for the 'festivities' as opposed to the Labor Service, etc. This is for a fact check, so if you could offer a source, that'd be great! Thanks!

This is only a general overview, but I've come across several numbers that might be helpful.

The History Place - Triumph of Hitler

Shirer, in Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, p. 230 in my copy (last page of Chapter 7) claims on September 4 "...thirty thousand hands were raised in the Nazi salute."

    Hope this helps. Good luck.
