    i like the k98 bayonet very much.......that's a yellow flare cartridge ya?

    what's the last object (the painted tiger leaping) ?

    Nice collection.

    Last image is the remains of a patch. Looks like the Flying Tigers fighter group. Correct me if Im wrong. Thats not my area of experience

    thanks and yes flying tigers leather patch i wish i had got it before the damage girlfriend rememered it in her family before the damage

    thanks andy the bayonet i got in maine and the signal flare says dec 1942 aircraft sig double star yellow the patch is flying tigers i have a nsadp party armband on the way this week i cant wait!

    the aluminium plate is out of a wright cyclone buffalo1 i think saw a cockpit image on the internet with it mounted in the cockpit

    yes one side says 2838 s and the other says cof 43 the scabbard says 44asw

    Nice collection and indeed that is a theater made Flying Tigers leather patch--great score on that one! The Bayo is mis-matched with the scabbard-which is a usual thing) that's why they have different manufacturers codes and acceptance stamps. I have one-but have not "really" looked at it for years-but the blade has near 100% of its bluing intact as well as matching Scabbard and Blade ;-)) However, some dummy painted the scabbard a Navy Grey :rolleyes: :rolleyes: I got this blade from a Garand Collector. Your blade will probably fetch about $150.00 on the open market, mine probably about $400.00.
