    Hello:

Happy New Year . If someone was an Instructor with the R.A.F. during World War 2 -responsible for the barrage balloons-would there be a way to find out more about the individual most likely being trained at Weeton-as he was in Blackpool as my Mom remembers.

He is shown on the Muster Roll of 1941 in the Library of his hometown in Brechin showing only his statues, name and address at the time under a list with the R.A.F. The R.A.F. Disclosures in Sleaford, Lincolnshire shows no record of him so that's why I am thinking maybe he didn't have to join however they may of utilized his skilled background. Being he served during this time you would think there would be something out there about him.
    All the best
    Gail
