Hello My name is Noah, (34) I live in rural Ontario, Canada outside London, ON. My grandfather fought in WWII, my dad was fascinated and so am I. I am also a collector of all sorts of military items; a few examples includes a prop from a Spitfire, the left wing tip fuel fuselage and cockpit canopy from an Avro CF-100 Canuck, low drag practice rockets from a CF-18 Hornet, helmets, bayonets, etc. The best part is waking up in a museum each day. I read a lot and enjoy films even if it makes my stomach turn eg. The Grey Zone. Right now I am reading Nazi Hunter by Alan Levy. Good to meet you all and look forward to reading and writing many a good posting.
Welcome Noah, good to have you with us. We have a nice militaria section , so if you wish to post a few pics of your collection we'd be delighted.
Hello Noah -- Welcome to a great place. I am sure you will enjoy your time here. How did you arrive at "Dr. Sardonicus" for your name? I have a friend who blogs under the name "Dr. Sardonic." Cheers!
Hey Doc, Welcome to the forum.. I don't live too far from you.. I'm from Windsor , Ontario. Your grandfather must have had some really amazing stories.. (did he survive the war) Which battles did he fight in ? By the Way Grey Zone was a great movie.. Just wish that the actors were a little more convincing as far as their accents... some of them were talking like they just came from the bronx... but still a great story.... very sad though.. Anyway, nice to meet you! Suzie
