IN CM is ist possible to have 2 on 2, or is it strickly a 1 on 1 game?

 

Yes, its possible.

You can even have 4 v 4! Or even 1 person controlling each squad!

How it works is the following:

In the movement stage, you issue your move orders to the units designed to be under your control. You save the file, then send the file to your team mate, who then makes moves for his command. He clicks the 'Go' button, and then sends the file to the opposition.

Clearly, such a game only really works on a HUGE Map with lots of units. Each player controls a platoon, for instance. Makes it easier to plan strategy too, as your focus is much narrower while you both work to an overall goal.

The tournament or the 2+ Players per team?

 

Well the tornament is easy for me, I just leave it up to you

But I meant the 2+ to a side, it just sounds a bit hard, especially when your ally is not attacking but defending or vice versa. Although it would help with being able to spend more time in a specific area of the map and have the ability to see every detail of that area.

 

Well, it helps with the MASSIVE Maps that have hundreds of units on it. I've seen tournaments where its 4 vs. 4, each person controlling a Platoon (4 Platoons to a side) on huge maps. Takes a little strategy and planning, and I think it would be rather fun (2 v 2 is more realistic for us) as it mixes up the skill levels and evens out the playing field, so to speak.

 

Possibly. We would have to give it a go and find out, well I am up for something new, if you anyone else is interested.

 

I'm about to start one up with Tomcat myself. Perhaps GroFaz would like another drubbing at the hands of his CM Master?

 

I guess we need one more player to do the 4 on 4 split command. Or maybe we can do a type of deathmatch game, hehe free for all. The Russians vs the Germans, vs the Aliens lol. (well it happened in HOI)

Lets not forget who gave you some invaluable training when you first started up CMBB You'll have to send me the last files - things are a bit jumbled on my PC at the moment and it took me some time to find the first file for Tomcats game.

And didn't we call that Italian one off? The whole 'Italians firing peas at Allied Armor' type thing? Though that map was pretty awesome (as was my defense, if not for the whole ITALIAN thing).
