Will do...ALthough I am a CS buff ([F.D.F.] Basher [NL]!) a friend and I were discussing crossing over to DoD. RtcW just doesn't do it for us.

CS is still the shooter to play, in my opinion.

Were are you from sverri? Are you in a clan?

Sverri, I will check it out! Thnx for the pointer! Yes, I am from Holland. If the connection is any good, try this public server; server.rentone.nl or server2.rentone.nl This is were I play. I am an admin here and the servers are owned by some friends. Let me know if you need the IP. I wonder how well they do from Denmark. We get people from Germany, France and sometimes UK and Sweden! And Holland Of course...

Carl - No, unfortunately I haven't yet. Of none. Will write again (to make sure). Will let you know when I hear anything! Have been terribly busy lately as well and will be in the foreseeable future; work, research ( I am actually taking next week off to get rid of my back log) and I am getting Married! YES! My California Beach Baby consented to be my wife! So, there's a lotta preperation there too. Date is set for July 20th. So, if any one out here has any significant info on what happened on July 20,l 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, lemme know!

My friend plays Day of Defeat, and sometimes I play it at his house, he mentioned to me about a new version or something that came out. I gotta go over there and try it. I heard you can get mg42s now.

Day of Defeat, V2.0 is absolutely amazing. DoD is the quintessential first-person, squad-based shooter now avaliable.

With five "characters" per "side", each with their own special weaponary and purpose, the options are rather vast. Especially when on larger maps, cooperation can create that thin margin allowing victory or permitting defeat. Certainly, for those of us who enjoy a good throwback to the days of Normandy and Bastogne, DoD is the only choice.

    Carl and Sverri,

Thanks! It is an exciting period! I appreciate the good wishes!

    Sverri - The IP is 213.206.78.207:27015 (server1)
and 213.206.78.208:27015 (server2). Let me know how they are from Denmark. It is a CS server.

E-mail me as this might be off-topic...

Sverri and Desert Journeyman; Ahhhh, guess there is no escaping DoD now! I must say, I do like the maps better anyway...It was just that before the graphics weren't that great....but now....

    Thnx for the pointers!

In terms of multiplaying shooter for WW2, it's the cream...

I just can't get over stalking alleyways with my kar bayonetting unsuspecting passers by. :D
