    In heatwave conditions a discarded phosphorous grenade 'went off' in the grounds of the Bilderberg Hotel at Oosterbeek yesterday.

    The fire brigade quickly dealt with the resulting small brush fire but by all accounts the Dutch Press had a good time with the story....

    Again, I missed this at the news.

    Panzer, I think it must have been WW2 related. The area was under heavy fire during the Battle of Arnhem.

    The Bilderberg grounds were absolutely at the centre of the western perimeter of Oosterbeek and were fought over by various German and British units over the nine days of the battle.

    In fact, the famous photo of General Kussin's body was taken just yards from the entrance to the Bilderberg...
