I've recently posted a few more on the blog. Here's the art. The first ones are for the honorable Prime Minister. I'm concentrating on ASW as ordered. These are Shimushus, rather than the production units planned, but they're a start:

There's a few others on the blog, of course. Also in accordance with the Council's plans I've completed the lead units of the ASW Akizuki class destroyers:

Here's the subs, since I can't stop myself:

For Admiral Takao, Nachi and Takao:

And again, I can't quite help myself. Ise and Kirishima

    Honorable Prime Minister,

Well, we don't really need our ASW escorts to be all that large, so long as they have sufficient mortar coverage . . . wait, you mean the scale. Yes, your excelency, the final production models will be on 1:1 scale. I've had difficulty recruiting sailors seven hundred sixty micrometers tall. I've been speaking with a neighboring Queen, but her subjects all seem to have six legs and none wish to go to sea to fight the Emperor's wars.

    Takao,

She's a lovely ship and I hope I've done her justice.

I am recently married, but my wife does not paint. I think she still thinks my hobby is a touch odd, but she seems glad I enjoy it and she's supporting enough. She's even agreed to try some wargaming. Eventually.

    Belasar,

Oh dear, that would be most unfortunate. My air forces would be especially susceptible to vacuum suction. My mother was armed with one of these that did tremendous harm to my lego fleets during my youth.

    URQH,

I am battening down the hatches and checking all the cargo as we speak. Everything's dogged down fairly well, but it never hurts to double check. Especially the deck cargo. It would be terribly frustrating if I lost valuable war materials because a cable that I hadn't inspected parted.

Also: "want" may be overstrong. She is willing to try, but I don't know that she actually desires this, and I'm certain she doesn't on her own account. She merely agrees to suffer it. She has, however, seemed much more interested in learning to paint miniatures since people pay commissions. (Once in a while.) She's straining at the bit while she waits for her employment authorization.

Oh holy geeze! I'd say you have to love your mother but sometimes it's quite hard. All 2000? Ouch!

    General Nishio,

All I can do on short notice is this:

Kindly ignore the fantasy elements. Would that I had other tanks for you, but I do not at present. Japanese tanks are on my to-do list, but still a little ways down.
